Case Filed On Talasani Srinivas Yadav

A case has been filed against BRS MLA and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Congress leader Ravi Kiran lodged the complaint, accusing Talasani of making inappropriate remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, which quickly drew political attention.

According to the complaint, Talasani made offensive comments targeting Revanth Reddy during a press meet held in Secunderabad. Ravi Kiran stated that the remarks crossed acceptable limits and warranted legal action under existing laws.

The SR Nagar police have taken up the matter and begun an investigation. Officials are examining the complaint and related statements to determine the next steps in the case.

Incidentally, Talasani apologised to Revanth Reddy and withdrew his comments on Wednesday morning. Despite the apology, the case was still registered, highlighting the seriousness of the issue and the reaction it triggered.

Earlier, Talasani had said that if Secunderabad was broken into pieces, he would chop the CM into pieces. The use of such violent language led to strong public and political backlash, forcing him to issue another apology.

Talasani later stated that he holds utmost respect for those in the ruling party. He added that dividing Secunderabad, a historic city, was wrong and stressed that Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin cities with several historic landmarks.

He further reiterated that including Secunderabad in Malkajgiri was not right. It now remains to be seen how the authorities proceed and how Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s case will be handled legally.
