A case has been filed on YSRCP leader Nallapureddy Prasannakumar Reddy by Kovur police. The case has been filed under Sections 74, 75, 79, 296.
It has already been reported that Nallapureddy Prasannakumar Reddy has made objectionable comments against Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy.
The alliance government is rather keen on ensuring that women are treated respectfully in the state. Leaders Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan have been insisting that citizens of AP must refrain from speaking derogatory words towards women.
However, the YSRCP leaders are showing little remorse and continue to talk cheaply about women leaders. Even Nallapureddy Prasannakumar Reddy hasn’t shown any remorse regarding his comments.
He told media that he will talk more openly about Prashanthi Reddy. However, not one to take nuisance, Prashanthi Reddy filed a case against Prasanna in Kovur.
Immediately after the media started reporting about Prasannakumar Reddy’s comments, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan had announced that strict action would be taken against anyone who degrades a woman.
