TRS government successfully managed to dent the image of TDP at least in Telangana with the sting operation on Revanth Reddy and alleged Chandrababu’s audio tapes. However the ruling party leaders now worry if this episode will back fire on them.

This is not regarding the legal implications of phone tapping etc but the party’s prospects in GHMC elections. Andhra Pradesh people and settlers in Hyderabad are feeling the entire incident as an attempt to dent the image of their state. They feel insulted by KCR and his government.
This public reaction is most likely to act against the TRS government in the upcoming GHMC elections. KCR government had undertook several Hyderabad appeasing programs in the last few months in a bid to garner settlers support in GHMC elections now all of them went waste. The government is most likely to postpone the elections further to erase these memories from people’s memory.
