Nampally CBI Special Court today ordered the country’s premier investigating agency, CBI to probe in to the assets of TRS Supremo K. Chandra Sekhar Rao, his nephew Harish Rao and Medak MP Vijaya Shanti. Hearing to the petition filed by Raghunandhan Rao who quit TRS and joined BJP, the court summoned CBI lodge FIR on them and investigate in to the allegation.
Raghunandhan Rao alleged that KCR and his family earned 100s of crores with Telangana movement after 2001. He said that huge illegal transactions took place in Medak MP Vijaya Shanti’s house who now quit TRS and joined Congress. Earlier, Raghunandhan Rao approached the Supreme Court with this petition but the court urged him to go to a lower court. This decision of the court will come as big blemish on KCR and TRS’ image just before the elections.
