CBI Raids on Former YSR Congress Leader’s Son

CBI has conducted raids on Koneru Pradeep, Son of Former YSR Congress Leader and Industrialist, Koneru Prasad. CBI has raided Pradeep’s Residence in Hyderabad and Offices in Chennai in relation to a case. They reportedly seized some crucial documents.

Koneru Prasad is one of the accused in Quid-Pro-Cases of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleged to have involved in amassing wealth illegally through YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s help. He even spent sometime in jail and is out on bail before 2014 elections.

Founder chairman and chief mentor of Trimex group, Koneru Prasad formally joined the YSR Congress in Hyderabad in March 2014. Jagan fielded him for Vijayawada Parliament in 2014 elections but lost the election miserably. Prasad became inactive in the party after the loss and finally resigned to the party in May last year owing to Personal reasons.
