CBI Seeks Avinash Reddy’s Bail Cancellation

The YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case has seen another significant development, with the CBI filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court to cancel the bail of YS Avinash Reddy. A hearing on the bail cancellation petition for Avinash Reddy is scheduled in the Supreme Court for the 11th of this month.

In its affidavit, the CBI mentioned that Sunitha Reddy had challenged the High Court’s decision to grant anticipatory bail to Avinash Reddy in the Supreme Court. The CBI stated that Bhaskar Reddy and Avinash Reddy had conspired to murder Viveka, and that the murder was the result of a political feud.

The CBI’s affidavit also asserted that the heart attack was fabricated and called for further investigation into Avinash Reddy’s role. It mentioned that during the car ride with Viveka, Gangireddy had called the accused Sunil, and at that time, Sunil Yadav was at Avinash Reddy’s house.

Viveka’s daughter, Narreddy Sunitha Reddy, had filed a petition in the Supreme Court on June 6th challenging the Telangana High Court’s decision to grant anticipatory bail to Avinash Reddy in the Viveka murder case.

It’s worth noting that many had expected the CBI to file its petition before Sunitha’s, but the CBI remained silent on seeking bail cancellation for Avinash Reddy for nearly three months before filing the petition in the Supreme Court.
