CBN Assurance To Chittoor Farmers

YSRCP leader Jagan announced his tour of Bangarupalem in Chittoor district on July 9 to talk to mango farmers about their problems.

The party has said that the government’s Rs 4000 for one tonne was an eye-wash move. YSRCP says that the farmers are forced to throw their produce on roads.

However, the tour of Jagan is already a flop. His urge to show off his strength is not going to get him any brownie points in Chittoor.

The reason? Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu has already addressed the grievances of Chittoor farmers on Thursday afternoon. Speaking on the issue, Chandrababu asked if anyone had done what his government did for mango farmers.

Those who do politics over dead bodies are now showering love on mango farmers. The person who never bothered about agriculture, horticulture, drip irrigation, Handri-Neeva project is talking now.

I will be addressing the issues of mango farmers in the review meeting. The farmers believe us, said CM Chandrababu.

With this, Jagan’s plans of grabbing eyeballs have gone down the drain. In the past, he met the mirchi farmers and tobacco farmers and created ruckus wherever he went. The recent Singayya incident is still fresh in the minds of people.

No farmer is foolish to welcome a leader who comes out of his palace only to show off his strength. They will not fall for false promises of a leader who is more interested in his personal glory.

This time, Chandrababu has check-mated Jagan, with a masterstroke. No threats or warnings, a simple move to show he is in control of the situation.
