Since coming back to power in June 2024, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been distributing Pensions in one random village every month on the first. After distributing the pensions in a house or two, Naidu will address a small Public meeting with the people of the village.
This month, it happened in a village of Gangadhara Nellore constituency, Tirupati.

Interestingly, after addressing the people, Chandrababu also addresses another meeting with the party cadre of the constituency. This is a first and Naidu will continue such cadre meetings going forward as well.
Chandrababu’s speech here gave a feeling that he is trying to address the concerns of the cadre in recent times.

Naidu acknowledged how he has become busy and as a result, the cadre is feeling deserted. He also acknowledged how leaders are also neglecting the cadres.
And then, he made a big statement.

“No one can defeat TDP. If the party ever loses, it means that the cadre is unhappy and is sleeping at home. Even then, they will not leave the party because yellow blood always runs in their veins,” Chandrababu said.
This single statement indicates Naidu is aware of the cadre being unhappy and also says what happens if the cadre is not happy.
There is a revolt from the cadre and Naidu did not turn a blind eye to them and acknowledged them without ego with this meeting.
“Nobody defeated us in 2004 and 2019. My decisions defeated us. I was so obsessed with the state’s development and ignored the party. That led to our defeat. I will not let that repeat it now. It will be political governance this time. In the last eight months, we ignored the cadre who worked hard in the last eight months. That mistake will not repeat going forward,” Naidu assured.
Naidu also revealed his latest Survey findings about GD Nellore.
He read out how the local MLA is not touring the constituency enough, how he missed Swachh Andhra Program?, how the constituency lags in the membership drive, and how he is not active on social media.
He read out the report with a smile. He spoke about the negatives of MLA Thomas and at the same time, spoke good about him in some aspects.
With that balance, he did not embarrass the local MLA before the cadre.
On top of everything, Naidu was so jovial and appeared so receptive to the cadre.
After the meeting, the cadres were very happy and left with a feeling that the leadership had got the feedback and would change.
If the meeting and Naidu’s speech are any indication, Chandrababu has got the right feedback.
