CBN’s Shock To Bhuma Family!!

Bhuma Family

The TDP has finalized an assembly seat for Muslim minorities in Rayalaseema. The party announced former minister NMD Farooq as the in-charge of Nandyala, delivering a politically rude shock to the Bhuma Family. In the 2017 by-elections, TDP had declared Bhuma Brahmaananda Reddy, the cousin of Bhuma Akhila Priya, as the TDP candidate from Nandyala. He won the election with a margin of more than 27,000 votes over his nearest rival, Shilpa Mohan Reddy (YSRCP).

However, the Bhuma family lost the election in the 2019 General Elections. Despite the loss, Bhuma Brahmaananda Reddy continued in the YSRCP and remained involved in TDP activities within Nandyala. Former minister NMD Farooq was appointed as the in-charge of Nandyala by the party’s state president Achchennaidu on Monday. Party sources have indicated that it is certain he will be given that seat.

TDP leader Chandrababu called Brahmananda Reddy and spoke to him, expressing that a change needs to be made with the idea of giving priority to minorities, and he will be given another chance.

The TDP leadership is planning to provide an opportunity to two or three minorities in the constituency this time. In the last election, Aamir Babu was fielded in Kadapa, and Aziz was fielded in Nellore Rural, but both were unsuccessful. This time, the TDP is planning to field different candidates in those two seats.
