Center to take a stand on Help to Andhra Pradesh!

Narendra Modi led Central government seem to be keen on giving clarity on the support that needs to be extended for Andhra Pradesh due to the losses inflicted due to the state bifurcation. The center is likely to take a stand on the Special Status and Special Package issue before tabling the Budget in Parliament in February.

It is most likely that the center will go off the promise of the Special Status but will be making an announcement of Special Package with the numbers. Some allocations of this package may be done in the Budget too.

Close to two years have passed, with out much happening for Andhra Pradesh. In severe funds crunch, the cash strapped state is living on loans and Ways and means. People hope the center will finally give some respite!
