Chandra Babu to tour Telangana!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu had announced that he will be touring Telangana state very soon to strengthen the party there. He also promised to induct Telangana TDP leaders in to various nominated posts in the Center and Andhra Pradesh. It is said that he already promised to allocate three posts in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board to Telangana TDP leaders.

Traditionally, Telugu Desam Party has a strong support and cadre base in Telangana over the years but the stand taken by the party over the state division issue severely affected the party’s prospects there. The party was not able to win at least handful of seats in the districts of Telangana other than Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy. Chandra Babu already announced that he will dedicate one day per week to oversee the party affairs in Telangana.
