Chandrababu begins ‘Target YSR’

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had instructed officials of the state on the illegal statues of Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy which cropped up with out permissions disrupting the traffic flow and causing other problems.

Chandrababu asked officials to much statues of all leaders erected with out permissions but officials say most such statues belong to YSR which cropped up in the last 3-4 years. Chandrababu instructed officials to move statues of National Leaders to nearby government lands.

The illegally put up statues of other leaders will be moved to private lands up on the consultation with the local political party leaders. Panchayati Raj and R&B departments have sprung in to action. The issue had to be tackled sensitively since a lot of sentiments will be involved in them. On the other side, government instructed officials to complete the work in 15 days time.
