Chandrababu’s Key Comments On Indigo Crisis

Passengers across the country continue to face chaos due to the IndiGo crisis, with repeated flight cancellations leaving many stranded at airports for hours. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressed the issue and said the state government is not handling the situation directly.

He stated that the Central government is responsible for managing the crisis. Chandrababu Naidu said the Centre will respond appropriately and added that the Union Minister of Civil Aviation answers to the Central government in this matter.

As disruption continued, Indian Airlines announced openings for pilots to meet operational needs. Applications were invited for pilots to operate B737 and A320 aircraft as the airline moved to strengthen its workforce during the ongoing disruption.

Meanwhile, north Indian media outlets sharply criticised Union Aviation Minister Rammohannaidu, questioning his response to the situation. The coverage demanded his resignation and linked the criticism to his position as a TDP legislator.
