Talasani Srinivas Yadav, once a senior most leader in Telugu Desam Party resigned to the party and Sanathnagar MLA seat this morning and has entered KCR’s cabinet. However Talasani’s mother, Lalitha Bai still seem to be not parting love with TDP.
Speaking to media this morning, Lalitha Bai said, “It is very tough parting with Chandrababu and TDP. Chandrababu is like my elder son and Srinivas Yadav is like second son”. However Lalitha Bai expressed her happiness on seeing her son getting cabinet post.
TRS is expecting Talasani’s entry to be a major shot in the arm for the party ahead of the GHMC polls. The ruling party had very meager presence in the Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts. TRS just managed to open its account in the region in these elections by managing to win 3 seats there. Now TRS is looking to win the GHMC elections with the help of alliance with MIM and encouraging defections of influential leaders from TDP and Congress of the region
