Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has clarified his government’s development philosophy, emphasising that the state holds no rivalry or negative stance toward neighbouring Telangana.
Following recent legislative milestones regarding the legal and administrative framework of the capital city, Naidu addressed questions about regional competition.
He stated that while Hyderabad is undoubtedly a massive asset and a major economic driver for Telangana, Andhra Pradesh is not looking to compete out of spite or animosity.
Instead, the Chief Minister explained that his administration is entirely focused on its own growth trajectory, specifically building a globally competitive, matching urban ecosystem in Amaravati.
The objective is to establish a world-class capital that can attract investments and generate opportunities on par with other major Indian metropolises.
By keeping the developmental focus strictly on the potential of Amaravati, Naidu underscored that healthy regional progress does not require working against a neighboring state, but rather building up one’s own strengths.
