Andhra Pradesh government has established of AP Economic Development Board (APEDB) which was to bring foreign investments to the state, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be the board chairman and Naidu has appointed senior IRS officer, Krishna Kishore as the CEO of the board. Naidu was impressed with the track record of Krishna Kishore.

He was until very recently the PS to Union aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju and he was brought here on deputation for three years. APEDB is the one stop for investors and it will make ensure ease of doing business in Andhra Pradesh and making it the number one destination for investments.
Kishore is a trained chartered accountant, and his stint at the Centre saw the aviation ministry first propose the consumer-friendly move of capping domestic fares. He is not totally a new face to AP. He was earlier served as commissioner of Income-Tax in Guntur and commissioner of IT (appeals) Vijayawada.
