Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was jailed in a Skill Development Case and as of now, YSR Congress leaders themselves are admitting that they are yet to establish proof that Chandrababu received the alleged money.
As of now, the CID’s case looks feeble.
There are reports that CID established the entire case on a Note File written by the then Finance Secretary PV Ramesh. Ramesh wrote that the funds are being released as per the direction of the Chief Minister.
A day after the arrest, PV Ramesh gave an interview in which he said he suspects that his statement may have been misused by the CID and there is no chance the former Chief Minister can be arrested using his statement. He elaborated on the case and going by his version, it appears like everything is fabricated.
Ramesh was supposed to address the Press yesterday afternoon but was canceled at the last minute.
There were rumors that Megha Krishna Reddy exerted pressure on Ramesh not to speak in favor of Chandrababu Naidu. It is known to everyone that Megha Krishna Reddy is on good terms with Telangana Chief Minister KCR and also his AP counterpart.
Ramesh after his retirement joined Megha Engineering Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) as an adviser in the company.
Ramesh today resigned from the company for personal reasons.
Political circles are abuzz with speculations that KCR and Jagan have tried to pressure Ramesh through Megha Krishna Reddy.
Meanwhile, Krishna Reddy is planting leaks in the media that it has sacked Ramesh taking serious note of comments on a subject that the company was in no way concerned. Even in that case, the company should answer why it is so disturbed if Ramesh gives a clean chit to Chandrababu Naidu.
KCR and BRS leaders have been silent on this issue ever since Chandrababu Naidu was arrested. Probably, the silence means they do not want to expose their involvement in this case.
