Naidu Gears up for Cabinet Reshuffle, Big Changes on Card

Reports are emerging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to expand his team on 29th March, the eve of Ugadi. Buzz is that Six or Seven Ministers are going to face the axe. Mrunalini, Ravella Kishore Babu, Peethala Sujatha, Prathipati Pulla Rao and Palle Raghunadha Reddy may have to give way.

Buzz is that Narayana may be also removed and may be appointed CRDA Chairman to oversee the Capital Construction. AP TDP President Kala Venkat Rao, Magunta Srinivasula Reddy, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Gollapalli Surya Rao may be taken into the cabinet.

Some media reports say that Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao may also get a chance. Bhuma Akhila Priya, Amarnadha Reddy, Sujay Ranga Rao are the defected MLAs who are fancying their chances. Besides all this, the usual speculations about Nara Lokesh’s inclusion are also back again.

One Cabinet Berth is confirmed in Muslim Quota. Jani who recently joined TDP from Congress is also an aspirant in this quota besides Jaleel Khan and MD Shariff. This will be the first cabinet shuffle of Naidu after coming to power in 2014 and all eyes are on the political implications that are going to arise after the shuffle.
