Naidu Bows Before Godavari Waters

Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has been fully committed and dedicated towards the completion of the Polavaram project, and he is standing by his word vigorously.

Today, a crucial step in the completion of the Polavaram project has been executed as the left main canal has been opened for water flow.

It was an outrightly pleasing visual to see Godavari waters flow through the left Canal of Polavaram Project. If this is an indication of what is to come, then there is every chance that this massive irrigation project could be completed within this CBN tenure.

There was this one very interesting visual that grabbed all the attention at this inauguration ceremony and it features CM Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu completely bowed down to the Godavari waters as he did the famous “Saashtaanga Namaskaram” in front of the flowing Godavari water. At the age of 75+, the agility and humility of the chief minister was on brilliant display.

Naidu went on to confirm that the Uttarandhra region will be receiving significant progress as ₹36,000 crore will be spent on the completion of 35 projects in the next three years. He coined the term “Uttamandhra” in the place of Uttarandhra in order to signify the commitment towards development of the region.
