
AP CM Chandrababu’s convoy was passing by Ponnekallu village in Guntur district. He suddenly stopped his vehicle and got down in hot sun.
Even as his security personnel and officials accompanying him wondered what was happening, Chandrababu walked into a small shop by the roadside.

Babu went and enquired after the lady in the shop. The lady told the CM her shop wasn’t doing well and that she was the sole breadwinner as her husband could not work due to paralysis. She also had health problems, she shared.
The CM questioned if she was getting any money from the government. When she said no, the CM immediately called the Collector and instructed him to make sure that the shop be converted into a permanent shop.

He also directed the Collector to study the family situation and do the needful and provide pensions to the couple.
Babu also went to a mechanic shop in a different village, found out about their problems and promised a garage and house for the dalit man, during his tour.

The videos of Chandrababu’s visits have become viral and he is winning accolades for his efforts to address the issues of people at the ground level.
