Naidu’s Strategy for Telangana Revealed

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu reportedly has solid plans for the revival of TDP (TS). Naidu is expecting a hung assembly in the state in 2019 and is hoping that the party would be the Kingmaker if it retains the 15 Assembly Seats it won in 2019 elections.

Naidu is also planning to tour Telangana extensively in December and January as he expects KCR to go for an early election in October 2018. However, TDP is expecting that a clearer picture will emerge on this after the Gujarat elections.

Naidu’s tour, if it happens, will rejuvenate the spirits of the cadre which is at all-time low. Naidu is expecting that hung assembly arises, as TRS will have the anti-incumbency against it and Congress will pick up before the election.

Naidu’s Telangana Tour is the last resort for the party which is on a ventilator in the state. The tour is most needed especially after Revanth Reddy’s exit. On the other side, Congress is also gearing up to several tasks to impress the people including Rahul Gandhi’s Public Meetings and Revanth Reddy’s Padayatra.
