BRS registered its first defeat after the bifurcation in the 2023 Assembly elections. The party drew a blank in the Parliament elections in 2024.
The party is not contesting in the ongoing MLC elections in Telangana.
KCR is confined only to his Erravelli Farmhouse these days.
There is an interesting observation in the Assembly elections. For the first time since 2014, the Telangana sentiment did not work in the election. Chandrababu Naidu completely stood away from Telangana politics and so, there is no scope whatsoever for KCR.
It looks like KCR and the BRS are once again banking on the ‘Chandrababu’ factor.
The other day, KCR visited Telangana Bhavan for the first time in seven months.
In his speech, KCR mentioned Chandrababu Naidu.
“Chandrababu Naidu is trying to come back to Telangana Politics in the name of the NDA. We should stop him after all he tried his level best to stop Telangana formation,” KCR instructed his cadres and the leaders.
Immediately this morning, Harish Rao took up the issue of Nagarjuna Sagar.
“Chandrababu Naidu Government is drawing water illegally from Nagarjuna Sagar Right Canal. Revanth Reddy doesn’t have the guts to question Chandrababu Naidu, nor does he have the courage to question the Center,” Harish Rao said.
It looks like ‘Chandrababu’ will become a common name in Telangana Politics in the days to come to instigate Telangana sentiment somehow or other.
Very soon, we will see KTR also sing the ‘Chandrababu’ song.
BRS leaders will try to shoot Revanth Reddy from the shoulders of Chandrababu Naidu going forward.
On the occasion of BRS completing twenty five years, the party is planning a huge public meeting on April 27th. It will be the first time KCR will address Public after a long time. We will further get an idea of this strategy that day.
