Chandrababu’s Undavalli Residence declared illegal

CRDA had made some minor changes to Amaravathi Master Plan. Earlier CRDA included some of the illegal buildings of VIPs are exempted along with the residences of the farmers and the locals in the notified villages. But for some reason, the illegal buildings are removed and these buildings will be razed down if necessary.

CRDA asked for any objections on the new Master Plan in the next 15 days. A petition over the illegal buildings is also pending in the Hyderabad high court. The court recently asked concerned departments to give details of those buildings. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s current residence in Undavalli is also in the lost.

There are 23 such buildings. These buildings and lands will be taken under land pooling now. Several political biggies will be annoyed with this decision. But the Chief Minister reportedly asked the officials to go ahead with out paying heed to any political pressures. This move will dispel the allegations that the Chief Minister is aiding illegal structures.
