Later, Sanjay initiated the “Chalo Secretariat” rally, marching from Ashok Nagar to the Secretariat along with the students. The rally turned into an intense protest near the Ambedkar statue at Liberty X Road.

Eventually, the police managed to control the situation and took Sanjay into custody and transported him in their vehicle.

Overall, the Group-1 protests have sparked significant political unrest in Telangana, resulting in a major confrontation between the opposition BJP, BRS, and the ruling Congress party.
