Telugu Desam Party veteran and firebrand leader Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu has been taken into police custody by Andhra Pradesh police earlier today.
Ayyanapatrudu has been taken into custody for his alleged comments on the chief minister YS Jagan at the Yuvagalam yatra in Gannavaram recently.
The TDP leader was detained by AP police who came in mufty. He came from Hyderabad to Vizag earlier today and he was then detained by the police, as mentioned before.
Ayyanna Patrudu was then served 41A notice and later set free. Cases under multiple sections were filed against him.
This is evidently a political move from YCP as Ayyanna was arrested for abusing the YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and upon the complaint from another YCP leader, Perni Nani.
This has become a common trend in Andhra Pradesh for the YCP government to misure police force on their political opponents.
