Chiranjeevi Condemns TDP Joining but More Doubts Crop

The news about Megastar Chiranjeevi joining Telugu Desam Party is in the rumour mills for quite some time now. Both the sides have not condemned the news until now. Congress Party finally deployed Chiranjeevi’s close aide, C.Ramachandraiah to clarify. He arranged a Press Meet in Gandhi Bhavan and clarified that the news is not true.

Ramachandraiah went on to say that Chiranjeevi is busy with the shooting of his Prestigious 150th film and told him clearly that there are no such plans to join TDP and asked him to issue a clarification so that there is no confusion in Congress cadre. Chiranjeevi also asked Ramachandraiah to condemn the news of Ram Charan’s Trujet receiving any subsidy from AP government.

It is interesting to note that Chiranjeevi did not clarify this himself. Even if he is busy, he should have asked his team to send a Press Note on his letterhead to condemn the news but it did not happen. So, this clarification aided more doubts and rumours now. Did Chiranjeevi really ask Ramachandraiah to condemn? or Did Congress deploy Ramachandraiah on Chiranjeevi’s behalf for damage control?
