Chiranjeevi to Retire from Rajya Sabha

Megastar Chiranjeevi who merged Praja Rajyam into Congress led the party to a Zero Seat Disaster in the last elections as the Campaign Incharge. Chiranjeevi totally distanced from the party affairs post the elections and revived his filmy career as well. He already delivered a Blockbuster with his Khaidi No 150 and is currently shooting for historical film, Sye Raa.

The movie shooting will keep him busy till this year-end. On the other side, Chiranjeevi’s Rajya Sabha term will be concluded in the next month and in all probability, Congress will not renominate him for another time. In the wake of this, Chiranjeevi will have no political commitment at all going further.

It has to be seen what Chiranjeevi will do going further in politics. It is more or less confirmed he is not much interested in Congress and it does not even have future here for a decade or so. It has to be seen if Chiranjeevi will look at some other party. His Brother Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena will also be a natural choice.
