Congress ‘Exit’… BJP ‘Polls’

All the National Channels have started airing their exit polls as soon as the last phase of elections ended this evening. All the exit polls indicate that NDA is all set to attain the required majority to form the government with its own strength and the strength of pre-poll allies. The least number of seats predicted for NDA is by CNN-IBN (270-282 seats) while Today’s Chanakya gave the highest number of seats with 340 seats with only BJP getting 291 seats. The trend indicate BJP may not need to please smaller regional parties like BJD,AIADMK, DMK and YSR Congress.

On the other side, UPA is all set to register its lowest tally ever. Most surveys predict the two time in power alliance may not get more than 100-120 seats across the country. Todays Chanakya had predicted lowest tally. UPA is expected to bag 70 seats in the current elections. the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies in the country will go for counting on 16th May. The results will be out by 3PM that day. Credibility of these surveys will be decided on that day.
