The election mood has gripped Telangana, and all the political parties have begun strategizing for the upcoming elections. The Congress party, which aims to capture Telangana by any means, has also initiated its candidate selection process. Congress strategist Sunil Kanugolu’s team conducted a survey in the state, dividing the 119 Assembly segments into three categories: A, B, and C.
According to Sunil’s team’s predictions, the Congress party is expected to win seats in the A category with ease, while in the B category, it is believed that with some extra effort, they can secure victories. However, the report suggests that the C category is relatively weak in terms of seats, indicating that winning seats in the B category is crucial for the party’s chances of coming to power.
Based on the survey’s findings, Sunil’s team has directed party leaders to focus on strengthening their presence in the B category seats. PCC President Revanth Reddy welcomed AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, who arrived at Shamshabad Airport, and together, they discussed the report presented by Sunil’s team at Gandhi Bhavan.
There are talks that some candidates may be announced in the first list within this month. Additionally, it is rumored that the candidate selection process has already been completed in BRS. Discussions are also ongoing about the possibility of CM KCR announcing the candidates for his party soon. The political climate in Telangana is heating up as the parties gear up for the upcoming elections.
