Congress Party, the main opposition in Telangana is gearing up for the Warangal by-election. The party so far had shortlisted four candidates for the election – Former Deputy CM Damodhar Raja Narasimha, Former MP Siricilla Rajaiah, Former MP Vivek and Rajarapu Pratap.

These are the candidates list prepared by the party high command, a final decision will be taken after consultation with the party’s state unit and the candidates. All the parties are struggling to finalize a candidate till now.
TDP and BJP did not decide who will be contesting there while Left parties are still waiting for Gaddar’s decision on contesting the election. Every one expected the by-election schedule to be announced with Bihar elections, but election commission paused the announcement for some reason.
