CSK Thrash SRH To Lift Vivo IPL 2018

It was a dream comeback for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. The Dhoni-led team which made a comeback after a two years ban has scripted history and won the IPL 2018.

It was an all-South final in Mumbai where Chennai Super Kings were pitted against a formidable Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was seen as a contest of batting versus bowling, and in the end the former won comprehensively. There was not even a contest between the two.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and chose to field. SRH could only manage 178 in the end, after a smashing beginning. CSK started the chase on a shaky note, but once the power play was over, there was no looking back. Shane Watson scored the second century of the IPL and took CSK home like a king with nine balls to spare. It is their third trophy overall.
