Pradhama Drishtiya: Is This the Best Thriller in Years?

Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar earns praise from viewers

Malayalam film Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar starring Parvathy Thiruvothu and Mathew Thomas in lead roles and directed by Shahad Nilambur, was released in theatres yesterday and is receiving super positive responses from audience and critics.

Many viewers, after watching Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar, are suggesting that it is one of the finest investigative thrillers released in the Malayalam film industry in recent years.

Even though many Malayalam investigative thrillers have emerged as successful ventures in recent years, other language audiences constantly throw negative criticism against them, noting that all Malayalam investigative thriller films follow the same pattern where only in the last 20 minutes the actual story of the film unfolds, while until then they consist of very mediocre drama in the name of setup.

However, surprisingly, it seems like Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar is completely opposite to this trend, as some other language audiences, after watching it are suggesting that the film took only 30 minutes for setup and once it gets into the story, it is gripping right until the climax.

Also, they are highly appreciating the writers PS Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal, of Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar, noting that it is one of the best-written investigative thriller films.

Even though the film had a very average opening because of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit‘s domination at the box office, after these super positive responses, the bookings for Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar are picking up.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen how Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar is going to perform at the box office in the following days and whether it emerges as a blockbuster success.
