Ex MP from Hindupur Gorantla Madhav is under the radar of cyber police. He has been given notices under BNS section 35/3.
The Vijayawada cyber police visited his house and issued notices. As per the notices Gorantla Madhav is supposed to present himself in front of the cyber crime police on March 5.

The notices have been issued based on a case filed by ex Women’s Commission chairman Vasireddy Padma on November 2, 2024.
She filed a complaint at the cyber crime PS. As Gorantla Madhav disclosed the name of victims in POCSO case, Padma lodged the complaint. Interestingly, she filed the complaint days after she quit YSRCP.

Vasireddy Padma also named a local Telugu channel in the issue. Her grouse was that Gorantla Madhav had given out six names of rape victims, two of whom were minors while speaking to a television channel.
Padma said the video got 12,000 views on YouTube in 11 days. She had said such talk compromises the safety and privacy of the victims.
