Danam Says Ready To Face Talasani’s Son

Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender has expressed strong confidence about facing a by election in the constituency. Even after the Telangana Speaker dismissed the disqualification of five MLAs, Danam clearly stated that he continues to stand with the Congress party.

He questioned why nine other MLAs are hesitant to face elections. According to Danam, leaders who work sincerely and stay connected with the people will naturally receive public support during elections.

Speaking to an online paper, Danam said he is fully prepared for a by poll. He alleged that BRS is trying to intimidate him but asserted that he does not fear any competition from the party.

Responding to reports that BRS may field Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s son from Khairatabad, Danam made a sharp remark. He said he is ready to fight any candidate, dismissing the idea that such a move would intimidate him.

Danam clarified that he is not seeking a ministerial position. He pointed out that he has already served as a minister earlier and continues to receive respect from officials, while maintaining that he will keep raising public issues like the HYDRAA matter.

He also said that while he has great respect for K Chandrashekar Rao, he reacted strongly to KCR’s ‘tolu teestha’ comments. Danam added that K Kavitha’s issue is an internal matter of the BRS party.

Danam stated that K T Rama Rao has the right to speak about defecting MLAs. He also said there is a positive public perception of the Revanth Reddy government among the people.

He claimed that whichever party he represents emerges victorious. Danam predicted that Congress and MIM will win in 300 divisions of the GHMC, reflecting strong grassroots support.

Danam said he plans to campaign extensively across the GHMC limits. He added that he will highlight the welfare schemes introduced by the Congress government during his outreach.

At a time when defecting MLAs are publicly claiming loyalty to BRS, Danam has been open about shifting political alignments. His candid remarks have sparked fresh discussion and interest within political circles.
