Defected MP to Lead KCR’s Crucial Scheme?

Nalgonda Congress MP Gutha Sukender Reddy may be heading the Farmer Co-ordination Committee. Telangana Government already announced forming Farmer Committees in Village, Mandal, District and State level to take up the Free Fertilizers Scheme.

Gutha Sukender Reddy may quit his MP Position and head this Farmer Co-ordination Committee. The committees also will advise the officials concerned to correct the land records in every village during the proposed survey.

The opposition alleges that the committees will decide the beneficiaries for the farmers’ welfare schemes based on their political leanings. The Free Fertilizers Scheme will be implemented from 2018-19. The committees will prepare the list of eligible farmers for the scheme along with the Agriculture Extension Officers in coordination with Revenue department.
