Demand for Jubilee Hills Ticket Grows!

The death of BRS leader Maganti Gopinath has left the Jubilee Hills seat vacant. The by elections will be held for the much sought-after assembly constituency soon.

Many are eyeing the seat, though no party has hinted at probable candidates. Within BRS, Maganti Gopinath’s brother, Maganti Vajranath is staking claim to the seat.

As a family member is given the seat if the incumbent dies, Vajranath is certain that BRS will give him the ticket. But the BRS bosses haven’t commented on it.

BJP’s new state president N Ramchander Rao also commented about the party winning the Jubilee Hills seat as the voter base has changed in the past few years.

Coming to the ruling Congress, Mohd Azharuddin had declared that he will get the party ticket as he was close to Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. However, he has gone quiet after that.

Now, the latest to join the queue is Congress leader and MLC Anjan Kumar Yadav. He is demanding that he be given a minister berth or Jubilee Hills seat. Apparently, he conveyed the same to AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Anjan Kumar Yadav is playing his Yadav card and says that no one from the Yadav community has worked more for the party than him.
