Deputy CM Upset with Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy is offended with the attitude of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu towards him and even skipped the cabinet meeting which happened two days ago. The issue of contention is the Revenue portfolio held by KE.

KE Krishna Murthy is upset about issues like withdrawing the powers of postings and transfers of RDOs and Deputy Collectors, vested with the Revenue Minister, and assigning them to GAD which is being handled by the Chief Minister himself.

Revenue is the most troublesome and corrupt department in Andhra Pradesh and Naidu is keen on bringing big reforms in this department. In the process, Naidu is taking charge of some of the crucial things in the department and is correcting one after the other but that is seen as interference by the Deputy CM.
