If the rumours emerging from TRS sources are to be believed, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is seriously considering to axe deputy CM Rajayya who is overseeing Health and Medicine Ministry.
During Rajayya’s short tenure, there are wide spread allegations of corruption in the department. KCR has got intelligence reports of the deputy CM’s direct/indirect involvement in Cash for Transfers and Commission for 108 Vehicles like scams that took place in the new government. There are various other instances when CM directly pointed out irregularities in Rajayya’s Peshi.
KCR is also of the opinion that Rajayya was not proactive in AIIMS or NIMS Land identification issue. Above all the outbreak of Swine Flu and the health department inefficiency in dealing it may rip off Rajayya from the coveted post. This will be first major decision in KCR’s regime so far. It is also said that Rajayya will be replaced by a Senior MLA of Nizamabad in the cabinet.
