BRS is running through a tough terrain in Telangana after the Assembly Elections defeat. BRS leaders, MLAs, and MPs are beelining to the Congress Party as if there is no tomorrow.
Public are also not looking at the BRS. All the Surveys are giving at best one or two seats to the BRS. That means more troubles are in store for the Pink Party in days to come.
Medak should be one of that two seats because the seat is traditionally BRS‘s Strong Forte. Also, there are the sitting seats of KCR and Harish Rao under Medak Parliament Seat and they help the MP segment big time.
But then, Political Experts say that BRS may have messed the Medak Parliament Seat with wrong selection of Candidate. Former Collector Venkat Rami Reddy has been selected as the candidate. He is currently an MLC.
Venkat Rami Reddy is involved in the forcible land acquisition of Mallanna Sagar Project. Back then, the Opposition alleged that he even demanded 15% commission while giving away the compensation for the project lands.
His candidature may run into friction in Medak, Political Experts opine.
