Direct Connectivity to National Highway for Amaravati

In good news to AP citizens, Amaravati is likely to get direct connectivity to national highway in about 3 months.

Those travelling from Hyderabad to Guntur will not be touching Vijayawada very soon. They can take the bypass at Gollapudi and go over capital Amaravati, directly to Guntur.

The Vijayawada West bypass road constructed from Gollapudi to Khaja will come into usage from June ending. The bypass that starts from Gollapudi will go over the six-lane bridge passing through the center of capital Amaravati. The 17 km bypass will merge with Vijayawada-Guntur highway at Khaja in Guntur district.

In the same manner, the Vijayawada West bypass which starts at Avutupalle near Gannavaram will go over Gollapudi and the center of capital Amaravati and end at Khaja. The 48 km Vijayawada West bypass will be operational in 3 months.

With this, people coming into Amaravati from any part of the state can enter without touching traffic at either Vijayawada or Guntur using the 6-lane bridge.
