Disappointed KCR extends time!

The Land Regularization Scheme announced by the Telangana government recently not attracted many as expected. The government opted to regularize constructions in plots less than 125 Sq yards for free while charged They 25 per cent to 100 per cent of the market value in different slabs above 125 sq. yards to 1,000 sq. yards to get those lands regularized.

The regularization rates set by the government are not at all competitive and also the time frame given is not at all feasible for applicants to pay such huge money in a short time. To see the target is achieved, Telangana government decided to extend the last date for regularization applications.

Government estimated income of 5000 Crore from this scheme but it is completely disappointing. Most of the applications were for regularization of construction in less than 125 sq yards which bring no income to the government.
