Disappointment Again for Vallabhaneni Vamsi

Any hopes of Vallabhaneni Vamsi have been crushed. The remand period in Satyavardhan kidnap case has ended and the police presented Vamsi before the Court.

The SC, ST Special Court extended the remand of YSRCP leader and ex MLA Vamsi in the kidnap of complainant Satyavardhan in attack on Gannavaram TDP office case.

As the remand period ended today, Vamsi was brought from district jail and presented before ACB Court. The Court extended remand till May 13. On the other hand, the SC, ST Court permitted Vamsi to talk to his family members for an hour.

Vamsi told the Court that he was suffering from breathing problems. The remand of five others involved in the case also ended on Tuesday. They were presented before Vijayawada Special Court and their remand was extended. The accused are in remand in Vijayawada district jail.

It is said that the authorities have gathered some vital information in the kidnap case from Vamsi. However, a few of the main accused are absconding and special teams are searching for them.
