DK Aruna’s ‘Shut Up’ comments stir TS Assembly!

Telangana Assembly is revolving more around unnecessary controversies than discussing the problems plaguing the people. It was the suspension of TDP MLAs till yesterday. Today, Congress MLA DK Aruna was speaking in the Assembly and TRS MLA Enugu Ravindra Reddy was constantly trying to interrupt her. Aruna after some time got irritated and said to him “Shut Up, Shut Up and sit. You may Shut Up if KCR asks you to shut up but we will not yield”.

She also mentioned about no place for women minister in KCR’s cabinet. Telangana Minister KTR immediately retaliated to the ‘Shut Up’ comments, “You are a minister and woman. You should not speak such unparliamentary words. These type of politics may work in Mahabubnagar but not here. We did not give place to women in cabinet but did not send women ministers and officers to jail like your governments”.

Other Minister Kadiyam Srihari mentioned that her comments are insult to women. Congress demanded apology from the ministers for attacking a women MLA. Later both the parties agreed to refer it to the Speaker who will see the video evidence and decide the future course of disciplinary action on those involved.
