It is an open secret that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central Government has done all that it can to prevent Sasikala to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Many even believe that the government has influenced the Supreme Court to deliver the judgment quickly to convict Sasikala.

Until then, Incharge Governor CH Vidya Sagar Rao made sure that he kept Sasikala at bay until the verdict is given. On the other side, Sasikala’s verdict has served a warning to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is entangled in numerous corruption.

We are told that Jagan instructed his party leaders not to take Modi’s name in the Special Status issue as it will only mean inviting trouble. He categorically said to his men that Venkaiah Naidu and Chandrababu Naidu should be their target in this issue and not Modi at any cost.
