Double Salary to Teachers in merged mandals!

The teachers of seven mandals of Khammam district that are merged with Andhra Pradesh recently have just got a jackpot. They have received salaries both from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments this month. Telangana salary got credited on January 2nd while AP salary got deposited on January 5th.

AP government did not even cut the professional tax, GLI, GFI too from the salaries. However the teachers are in confusion regarding what will happen in future if they draw both the salaries and use them up.

It is said that these teachers are employees belonging to Telangana and so the state government is paying them the salaries. On the other side, AP government is paying them the salaries since the mandals are now part of the state. The employees division did not take place yet in these mandals and that has created all sorts of confusion now.
