ED Letter on Jagan’s Case: TDP Could Not Get The Timing Right

Telugu Desam Party had released a letter of Enforcement Directorate (ED) to CBI regarding Jagan’s cases. In the letter, ED raised the issue of YSR Government allowing Land Conversion of a 100 Crore worth land in Kukatpally to Gulf Oil Corporation which belong to Hinduja Group floating all the rules.

In turn, Hinduja Group gifted 11.1 Acres of land to Jagan. In the letter data May 31st, 2017, ED went on to say that the memo filed by CBI in the court in this issue is faulty. CBI gave clean-chit to Jagan’s company in this case. ED asked CBI to ensure intense investigation and submit a new memo in the court.

Modi Government with an understanding with Jagan Reddy and took no action on this issue. This letter was released by TDP at the stroke of elections and it looks like it is bad timing. Even though the issue is genuine, the last minute release will showcase it as an election stunt.

Over the last five years, Jagan has been successful in dubbing a section of media as Yellow Media. He will be using the same plank to counter the issue. If the letter got released a month or two ago, it would have helped TDP big time. The party does not even have time to take it to the people now.
