Eenadu Sridhar – Resignation Or Retirement?

Cartoonist Sridhar has announced quitting from Eenadu the other day ending his association spanning over 40 years. This has come as a surprise for many and is also big news for obvious reasons. Neither Sridhar nor Eenadu did make any statement regarding this.

There have been speculations about why this happened. It is not clear if Sridhar has announced his resignation from Eenadu or if this is his retirement announcement. A few people are predicting that there is a fallout between him and the management at Eenadu.

If that is true, it will be a big surprise given their association and also due to the value, Sridhar brings onboard for Eenadu. If that is the case, doors of every big Newspaper will be open for Sridhar. In case this is his retirement, it will mark the end of an era in Telugu media and politics.

Sridhar has been with Eenadu since 1981. He has taken a long break only once. That is last year when he got infected by COVID-19.
