Even Robbers Do Not Need 500 and 1000 Notes

If thieves are at one’s home, what would their target be? Grab as many big notes or valuables as they can and disappear in no time. Right? But now it won’t be the same as it’s not any regular times of India.

There is an incident in Maharashtra, where thieves have robbed a house and took only the change and left the big ones behind. They literally took the 10, 20 and 100 rupee notes also the coins and two LPG Cylinders from two different homes, but did not touch our celebrity currency 500 and 1000 notes.

Are thieves too scared of exchanging/depositing the banned notes as they need to provide proofs for the same? Maybe they do not want to take risk of standing in huge queues to convert the money. Whatever the reason is, it is now known that not even thieves can help them get rid of the invalid/untaxed/undisclosed money.
