Every Cancelled Vote To Be Re-checked In AP

The government of Andhra Pradesh has been facing the heat of late over the numerous complaints about the removal of TDP loyalist voters from the voters list. Now, the Central Election Commission has taken a huge decision on the same.

As per the latest order from the Chief Electoral Officer, Mukesh Kumar Meena, every vote that has been removed from Andhra Pradesh since January 2022 will be re-checked.

Each and every case of removed votes in all districts across Andhra Pradesh will be reverfied in the presence of the district electoral officer. There will be a detailed cross verification of the record of the removed votes.

The Electoral Officer has ordered the district officers to complete the whole process by the 30th of this month.

This should unearth the illegal removal of votes that has allegedly been going on for the last several months. If there are any staggering revelations here, it will certainly paint a bad image for YCP ahead of the election.

Not just that, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to meet with Central Election Commission officers on the 28th of this month and submit a report on the fake votes in the state.
