YSR Congress Supporters are desperate about the credit of the Thandel movie.
From Day-1, they are desperately claiming credit for bringing back the Srikakulam fishermen languishing in Pakistan Jail. The makers of Thandel stayed away from it and gave credit only to Sushma Swaraj, the then External Affairs Minister.
It is common sense that it is a diplomatic issue between the national governments and has nothing to do with the state governments.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress Social Media is targeting one of the fishermen, Ramarao.
In a video, Ramarao refused to give credit to Jagan. He mentions that the then Government has helped with Five Lakh Rupees but TDP in various forms helped to the extent of Six Lakh Rupees.
YSR Congress Supporters are bashing Ramarao by referring to an old video that has his speech in the presence of Jagan Mohan Reddy thanking the latter.
There is no doubt that the then Government extended financial aid to the Fishermen but then, the facts are slightly different.
Before taking someone to the Chief Minister, they are briefed thoroughly about what to speak.
We have seen the Fishermen’s conversation with Jagan was live streamed.
They are from Poor families and when they are being helped, it is natural that they speak a few good words. It is natural that they fear they will not get the money if they do not read the script penned by the CMO to the media.
But the truth is what Ramarao is saying now.
It would be good if the YSR Congress took credit to the extent of Five Lakh Rupees but when they tried to hijack everything, they meet with humiliation like this.
TDP, on the other hand, behaved with dignity in this issue. It did not run for credit mindlessly.
